Seized Truck Recovered After Drugs Found in Trailer
An Eastern European haulier approached SBC after their truck and trailer was seized and impounded by the UK Border Force. A large quantity of illegal drugs had been found in the trailer. The haulier had been unaware of their existence.
SBC was able to quickly arrange the release and onward transportation of the main load. The National Crime Agency then wanted to question the haulier about the drugs. An interview under caution was arranged, and an SBC solicitor was present to represent the haulier during his interview.
After the interview SBC was able to secure the immediate release of the vehicle and drafted the proper paperwork to ensure the collection of the vehicle could take place.
