Restricted Licence Holder with No Paperwork Given Controlled Revocation at Traffic Commissioner’s Public Inquiry

This operator approached SBC when he was called in to a Traffic Commissioner’s Public Inquiry. He had been operating trucks without retaining any of his paperwork – PMIs, walkarounds, licence checks etc. He had contacted a competent Transport Consultant leading to the Traffic Commissioner deciding that whilst the restricted licence would have to be revoked the operator would be given sufficient time to apply for a Standard National licence before the current licence was revoked.
