Representors Successfully Oppose Operator’s Appeal in Upper Tribunal

In a rare change of roles Harry Bowyer appeared for the Representors in this matter at the original Public Inquiry where the application for a new operating centre and an increase in the number of vehicles specified on the licence was refused.

The Operator, represented by Queen’s Counsel at the Public Inquiry, appealed the Deputy Traffic Commissioner’s decision to the Upper Tribunal.

The Upper Tribunal, after hearing a day of legal argument, upheld the decision of the Deputy Traffic Commissioner and dismissed the appeal.
