Period of Grace Granted to Demonstrate Financial Standing – Operator’s Licence Saved.

A Standard Licence Operator, represented by Solicitor Laura Newton, was called before the Traffic Commissioner to Public Inquiry regarding concerns over financial standing. A review of the historical finances showed that financial standing had not been met since the COVID pandemic. With sufficient preparation time, we were able to demonstrate that there was a realistic prospect of meeting financial standing in the next 6 months, which allowed the Traffic Commissioner to grant a period of grace, rather than immediately revoke the Licence, to the huge relief of the Operator
