Operator Fails to Analyse Tachograph Data for 12 Months – Keeps Licence at Traffic Commissioner’s Public Inquiry

This operator failed to notice that they had missed the invoice from the company that analysed their tachograph data and that they were no longer getting the tachograph analysis reports. This came to light at a DVSA desk-based inspection which identified a host of other regulatory failings. The operator instructed a competent Transport Consultant who put in compliant systems. The licence was allowed to continue subject to a short suspension.
