Operator Escapes with Curtailment of Margin Following Unsatisfactory Maintenance Assessment at Traffic Commissioner’s Public Inquiry

This operator, represented by barrister Millicent Dooher was called before the Traffic Commissioner following an unsatisfactory desk-based assessment. The major issues identified were relating to the Transport Manager and a complete lack of systems for record keeping and vehicle maintenance. After hearing that the systems had been completely overhauled by a competent transport consultant the Traffic Commissioner was convinced to deal with this operator by way of curtailment of 1 vehicle of their margin.
