Clandestine Entrant Penalty Cancelled in Full Prior to Hearing

This Company had received a civil penalty of £5,000 following the discovery of 1 clandestine entrant in their vehicle. Millicent Dooher submitted the representations on behalf of the Company, setting out how they had complied with all regulations, despite not being a member of the accreditation scheme and having previous instances of civil penalties in the last 5 years. This was accepted by Border Force and the penalties cancelled prior to the Court hearing. The Company also received a contribution from Border Force to their costs in pursuing an appeal.
