Their spouse had submitted and application for an operator’s licence which did not have an interim granted. The Traffic Commissioner refused the new application on the basis of repute an financial standing and whilst deploring the behaviour of the director/transport manager recognised the very difficult position that they were in and was able to find their repute severely tarnished not lost.
