Civil Court Success for Truck Body and Trailer Manufacturer
Our client, a designer, manufacturer and fitter of commercial vehicle bodies and trailers, was sued by a customer for what was alleged to be poor workmanship. In a court hearing this week the court struck out the claim and awarded our client all of his legal costs in defending the claim. Our client had previously instructed solicitors who had advised that they settle the claim; unfortunately, those solicitors had no specialist knowledge of Road Transport operations and law and so were not properly equipped to understand the case so as to properly and effectively defend it. Our client then came to us for our specialist road transport knowledge and we defended the case on their behalf. Today they won. We can do no better than to quote our clients words after this result:
“Your knowledge, effort, perseverance and patience with this case has been very much appreciated!”
