14 Vehicle PSV Operator Receives 1 Vehicle Curtailment Following Propose to Revoke

Millicent Dooher, barrister, represented this PSV operator at their Public Inquiry before the Office of the Traffic Commissioner for Scotland. The operator had been called in following a propose to revoke letter, an unsatisfactory DVSA assessment that raised wide ranging issues over both maintenance and driver’s hours concerns as well as concerns about the continuous and effective control exercised by the Transport Manager.

The PSV operator was authorised for 14 vehicles. The Traffic Commissioner was persuaded to deal with the breaches by way of a curtailment of 1 vehicle for the period of 5 weeks. The proposed new Transport Manager was also approved, without the need for a period of grace.
