About Lisa Lyden-Cowan
Lisa is a Barrister specialising in European and UK Road Transport law. She has represented Operators and Drivers before the Traffic Commissioner at Public Inquiries and Driver Conduct Hearings. She has also represented UK and European Hauliers before the County Court on Appeal hearings against the imposition of Civil Penalties for carrying clandestine entrants. Lisa advises on and drafts representations for clients facing sanctions by the DVSA for MOT disciplinary matters, and also advises on motoring law matters, in particular driving licence entitlements and Exceptional Hardship cases for Totting Up.
Previous Experience
Lisa has worked as a County Court Advocate, a Paralegal specialising in road transport law; and before being called to the Bar in 2018 she spent many years working as a PA for major London law firms, and also for the CEO of a National Charity.
