Driver Given Formal Warning after Allegation of Dangerous Driving at Driver Conduct Hearing

The driver in this matter, represented by barrister Harry Bowyer, was parked up waiting for new instructions. A security guard turned up. A verbal confrontation ensued which led to the driver being struck by the security guards car, the security guard’s car being blocked by the driver’s truck and the security guard again driving into the driver. (The video and the security guard’s account diverged to some extent!). This was an incident that could have been handled better by both sides! The driver’s record was otherwise exemplary and the Traffic Commissioner dealt with the matter by way of a formal warning.
