Transport Manager Allowed to Step Aside and a New Transport Manager Appointed at Public Inquiry

The Traffic Commissioner called the application to add a new transport manager to an O licence on the request of the proposed transport manager. The Traffic Commissioner had concerns about whether the existing Transport Manager was exercising effective and continuous management. Upon a review of the maintenance and drivers hours documents the Traffic Commissioner took no further action against either the Operator or the existing transport manger who was represented by Murray Oliver.
