Operator Suspected of Licence Lending Given Formal Warning by Traffic Commissioner
This operator, represented by Millicent Dooher, was called before the Traffic Commissioner following suspected licence lending. The Traffic Commissioner considered the full documents and determined that, on balance, there was no licence lending. There were vehicle and driver issues that were raised, however the Traffic Commissioner agreed it was appropriate to allow the Operator to address these issues without the involvement of DVSA. The Traffic Commissioner gave the Operator a formal warning, meaning there was no impact on the running of the operation.
The Traffic Commissioners expect to see an audit trail throughout any Operator’s documents, to show what work is being done and who has control over the operation and compliance. If you have been called into a Public Inquiry, get in touch with one of our lawyers today.
