Licence Lending Operator Keeps Operator’s Licence
Transport solicitor Laura Newton represented an Operator who had been called to Public Inquiry regarding allegations of Licence lending and a poor maintenance history. Before the Traffic Commissioner, we were able to demonstrate that despite the failings, the Operator in questioned could still be trusted, and with an appropriate package of measures would remain fit to hold the Licence. The Operator narrowly avoided revocation which allowed them to continue their business and keep many people in work.
